in regards to the current news of
COVID-19 and Flu Prevention

Staff Protocols:

We are committed to reaching beyond the industry standards in our services we offer to you, our cleanliness and sanitation are always our top priority.We are dedicated to Wellness, it’s what we do best.

In these uncertain times we are monitoring our own health as well, getting enough sleep, rest, & eating well. We wanted to share our focus on continual sanitation both in our location’s environment and in our individual staff’s cleansing and sanitation protocols.

Our waiting, retail areas, and lounge in both buildings are cleaned thoroughly, throughout the day by our entire team. Our facility is professionally cleaned weekly by a team, that deep cleans all of our areas/spaces to our in-house staff that maintains all the common areas, to our service providers that sanitize all their equipment, tools, and stations before and after each service.

Our service team are washing their hands before and after each service, and during any breaks they have.

All Team members are required to wear masks.

All bedding, robes, towels, and linens are used once then removed immediately, laundered and sanitized on site. New neck bands on all barber capes for each Guest, are always standard protocol.

No one on the Quintana’s Speakeasy, Barbershop, Dream Spa, and Front of the House teams are permitted to work, if they feel unwell. Temperatures will be taken before each shift and any Team members showing signs of illness will be sent home.

Guest Protocols:

We ask that all Guests follow these steps to maintain a safe, healthy environment for everyone while you experience a service with us.

While we confirm all appointments by text, e-mail, or telephone if you are not feeling 100%, or need to reschedule your appointment for any reason, we will be happy to do that for you at any time.

Please come alone to your appointment. We will not accommodate extra family members, children, or friends. If they come with you they will need to wait outside. No handshakes, or hugs at this time either please!

Curbside check-in. When you arrive to the salon, please wait outside or in your car. Please call us and we will let you know when your service provider is ready for you. This will eliminate extra people in the salon at one time and allow us to clean our stations.

Upon arrival at Quintana’s, we kindly ask that all guests wash their hands with soap and warm water for the recommended 20 seconds or longer. Temperatures of all guests will be taken at first arrival. Any guests showing signs of illness will be rescheduled.

Guests will be seated 6ft apart in any area of the buildings, styling stations, nail stations, and pedicure stations.

We kindly ask to avoid touching your face, mouth, eyes, and nose, before or after your service, or treatment. All guests will be required to wear a mask that hooks behind the ears.

While you’re visiting one of our buildings, we have hand-sanitizer, Lysol/Clorox wipes, and spray disinfectant if needed.

Plexiglass has been installed at both receptions desks, and all nail tables.

We will currently be postponing all skincare, eyelash extensions, and massage therapy for the month of May. We will have limited service providers through the end of May.

We will be adding a $4 “Sanitation Fee” for any service $20 or more. We acknowledge the amount of extra PPE supplies and adjustments we’ve had to make to our salon operations.

We have outdoor patios available for all guests located in the back of the spa building and the front of the barbershop building.

Please know how very important providing excellent service is to us. These new measures we are taking are temporary until we can get back to the high standards that you’ve come to expect from us. We hope that will be sooner than later! We sincerely appreciate your support. This situation has certainly brought on some challenges, but we are determined to rise to the occasion with a positive attitude and a high level of professionalism.

As these circumstances are ever changing, they will require our constant attention and reevaluation. We ask that you please be patient with us as we make the necessary adjustments. We hope to see you all soon!

Online Appointment Scheduling: You can schedule online appointments at www.QBDS.net  24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We would be happy to add any additional services to your appointment. You can telephone us, if you would like to speak directly to our friendly Salon Coordinator’s at (216) 421-8380. If your Appointment request is over $100 you will be asked to provide a credit card for the appointment.

Online Gift Certificates: Need a last-minute gift? It is easy, simple, and they will love an indulging gift from you. Just personalize an Instant Gift Certificate, email or print, and you are done. Purchase Online!

Gift Certificate Purchases: All gift certificates are nonrefundable, valid for five years, unless purchased as part of a special promotion that may have a specific expiration or specific value. They are not valid on gratuities. Can be used for services or retail purchases. We apologize in advance that all gift certificates are nonrefundable.

Appointment Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes early if you are receiving a Massage, Facial, Body Treatment, or Waxing. If it is your first time at Quintana’s, you’ll kindly be asked to fill out paperwork before your treatment.

Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask if you need to cancel your appointment please give us 24 hours prior to the start time of your service if you feel that you cannot make it. For appointments made the day before, we ask for a minimum of 12 hours prior to any change or cancellation of your appointment. For same day appointments that are booked, we ask for a minimum of 3 hours prior to any change or cancellation of your appointment(s). All services canceled/rescheduled outside of our cancellation policy will be charged a $20 fee per service.

No-Show Policy: When we have a client fail to show for their appointment(s), it excludes another guest from coming in to receive a service. This is considered a “no-show” and you may be asked to pre-pay for your next scheduled service. All no-show services will be charged a $20 fee per service. Holiday Cancellation Policy: If your service is scheduled during a holiday or holiday weekend, we require a credit card to reserve any services over $50.

(Regular and Non-Holiday appointment(s) require a credit card for any service(s) exceeding $100 or more. All services canceled/rescheduled outside of our cancellation policy will be charged a $20 fee per service.

About Our Reservation Policies: We strive to deliver a more personalized experience for our guests by keeping our Service Providers booked completely. We ask & encourage guests to join our wait-list, if their preferred Service Providers are all booked. As guests change appointments in advance, it gives us the opportunity to reschedule our Service Providers and get you in. We completely understand that emergencies, life’s changes and unexpected occurrences arise.

We encourage you to please telephone us at (216) 421-8380 if you need to cancel, reschedule, or add-on a new service. We appreciate your understanding. Quintana’s sends text messages, email confirmation appointment reminders, and will also have our friendly Salon Coordinator’s telephone with appointment reminder calls if you wish. We respect your time and choice to patronage us. If the appointment you are scheduling is $100 or more we will kindly ask that you provide us with a credit card for the appointment.

Groomsmen & Day Time Spa Parties:
Groomsmen Parties: Visit the Quintana’s Barbershop & Speakeasy (Prohibition themed bar serving beer, wine, handcrafted cocktails, and of course Bourbon) to get you and your groomsmen wedding ready. Parties may include Haircuts, Shaves, Beard Trim, Massage, Manicures/Pedicures, and Facials. Please feel free to have your Photographer and Videographer arrive to capture your day. You can bring your Tuxedos and change in style. Platters and small plates available upon request.
Day Time Spa Parties: Are a fun and affordable way for groups of 3 or more to celebrate weddings, birthdays and office events during our regular hours. Indulge in a visit to our Speakeasy (Prohibition themed bar serving small plates, wine, handcrafted cocktails, beer, and of course Prosecco) to make your experience amazing. Please pre-book your party in advance. A credit card is required to reserve your party. During busy seasons we cannot guarantee availability. Why can’t I use a Quintana’s Gift Card for my Eventbrite Class/Workshop/Event? Unfortunately, Quintana’s Speakeasy Gift Cards can only be used on premise for food + drink. Quintana’s Barber & Dream Spa Gift Cards can only be used on Aveda retail, spa and barbershop services.
