What is a Microdermabrasion Treatment?
Microdermabrasion is the most natural way to evenly and safely exfoliate skin without the use of chemicals. The exfoliation process rejuvenates the skin by utilizing ultra-fine crystals (or diamond tips) to remove the upper layer of the epidermis. Studies have shown that microdermabrasion increases the production of collagen and elastin. The final result is firmer, more youthful looking skin over time.
What is a Dermaplaning Treatment?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive technique in which a dermatologist or licensed esthetician will scrape off vellus hair (also known as “peach fuzz”) and a top layer of dead skin cells off the epidermis, the top layer of the skin.
What is a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels work on the outer most layers of the skin to improve the appearance, texture and stimulate collagen production deeper into the skin. Depending on the formula, chemical peels can address wrinkles, discoloration, hyperpigmentation and scarring. We offer a variety of peels to suit every skin type.
*All chemical peels will require a consultation prior to service or booking. This is to determine skin type, discuss expectations, go over current skin care regimen, medications and determine pre and/or post skin treatments if necessary. Healing can take up to 1 week. During this time clients should expect peeling anywhere from 2 days to 1 week, along with possible sensitivity and/or redness as skin heals.
*Post treatment healing kits are included with any first time Lightening, Wrinkle and Perfection peels or peel packages booked.
