Requirements for Managing Salon Coordinator:

The ideal Managing Salon Coordinator candidate is a self-starter that will mentor and inspire our staff by maintaining high performance standards, leading by example, providing superb customer service, and setting and reaching sales goals for individuals and the team. Assist the General Manager and owners with day to day operations of running a successful 20 plus years spa and barbershop.
– Assist in managing all departments within the spa and barbershop to ensure that related operations run smoothly and efficiently.
– Assist in the training process for staff, and conduct interviews as needed.
-Effectively communicate job responsibilities, performance expectations, customer service standards, and company policies/guidelines.
– Perform opening and closing duties as needed, following established procedures.
– Maintain a positive employee relations climate, responding to employee-related issues promptly, fairly and consistently.
– Provide input in the preparation of effective performance reviews for various staff members.
– Develop and motivate staff, maintain cooperation/teamwork within the department, delegate tasks productively.
– Oversee spa standards and conduct daily walk-through of buildings and report any maintenance issues.
– Assist in coordinating promotional events and training sessions.
– Perform various administrative functions and tasks as assigned by the General Manager and owners.
– 3+ years management experience in a fast-paced retail, spa/salon, beauty or service environment is preferred.
– Highly motivated self-starter able to work independently with autonomy.
– Proven analytical and decision-making skills, able to handle critical situations utilizing good judgment.
– Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills.
– Retail and product knowledge with experience in developing promotional strategies.
– Time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
– Flexible and available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and occasional holiday.
– Able to count, balance, opening/closing drawers including cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates.
– Customer Service experience within an extremely busy business & higher-end settings (at least 2 years in Office, Hospitality, or Salon).
– Focused, can multitask.
– Interpersonal communication skills are a must.
– Likes a very fast paced, active work environment.
– Must be focused, efficient, able to multi-task, and have computer skills.
– Able to work both independently and as part of the team.
– Customer service and soft skills.
– Professional demeanor, positive attitude.
– Transport, inventory, physically carry large stock orders/cases of supplies between our two buildings, up and downstairs.
– Carry, fill, clean foot baths which weigh up to 20-25 pounds a minimum of 15 times per shift.
– Pre-Book return visits with Guests.
– Some retailing experience preferred.
– Available to cover shifts that include weekend, day, evenings.

Requirements for Salon Coordinator:
– Able to count, balance, opening/closing drawers including cash, checks, credit cards, gift cards
– Customer Service experience within an extremely busy business & higher-end settings (at least 2 years in Office, Hospitality, or Salon)
– Focused, can multitask
– Interpersonal communication skills are a must
– Likes a very fast paced, active work environment
– Must be focused, efficient, able to multi-task, and have computer skills
– Able to work both independently and as part of the team
– Customer service and soft skills
– Professional, positive attitude

Requirements for Nail Technician:
– Current valid Ohio Manicuring/Cosmetology license
– Strong focus on Nails
– Likes a very fast paced, active work environment
– Must be focused, efficient, able to perform Manicures, Shellac, Manicures, and Pedicures
– Acrylic knowledge
– Able to work both independently and as part of the team
– Customer service and soft skills
– Professional, positive attitude
– Pre-Book return visits with Customers
– Professional demeanor
– Some retailing experience preferred
– Available to cover shifts that include weekend, day, evenings

Requirements for Licensed Massage Therapist:

– Current valid LMT license from the Ohio State Board
– Listen to verbal and nonverbal clues to ensure customer retention.
– Incorporate stress-relieving treatments while providing a relaxing experience.
– Be courteous and considerate in the art of draping to relieve any customer apprehension.
– Encourage customer referrals.
– Maintain a proper sanitary and organized work area.
– Pre-book return visits with customers.

– Flexible with schedule (ex: Willing to pick up extra shifts when other service providers are off.)

Requirements for Estheticians:

– Successfully complete the cosmetology school curriculum for esthetician
– Current Vali license from the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology
– After being hired, complete one month of hands-on training from in-house trainers. In-house training ensures that we will deliver quality service and customer satisfaction
– Continually further your education. It is expected that you attend two seminars annually by in-house training staff and product vendors trainers. Education is key to knowledge and profitability- Be involved in the community you work in. It is expected that you participate in one local event each year
– Able to work independently and as part of a team
– High level of energy, self-initiative, and creativity
– Ability to work with a fast-paced schedule and high degree of accuracy
– Must follow all steps for services
– Very positive attitude

Requirements for Barbers:
– Current valid Ohio license
– Able to work both independently and as part of the team
– Pre-Book return visits with Customers
– Some retailing experience preferred, but not necessary
– Strong focus on Men’s and Boy’s Haircutting, (we’ll also train)
– Dependable transportation
– Must be focused, efficient, able to multi-task, and have computer skills
– Customer service and soft skills
– Very positive attitude
– Professional demeanor

-Flexible with schedule (Ex: willing to pick up extra shifts when other service providers are off)
