Dawn Quintana
Dawn graduated from Inner State Beauty School and has been in the industry for twenty-eight years. In 1991, Dawn established, Nails by Dawn, located in Little Italy. Additionally, Dawn worked for OPI Nail Products as an Educator from January 1995 to September 1998. In January 2001, Dawn opened her business, "Dream Spa" located in the Cedar Fairmount Business District for eight in a half years. In that time period, Dawn and her husband, Alex, opened a men‘s grooming facility, Quintana’s Barber Shop. In January of 2008, Dawn and Alex merged the two businesses now known as, Quintana’s Barber & Dream Spa.
Dawn’s favorite books are, Living with a Seal, and the autobiography of Vince Lombardi. Additionally, Dawn enjoys gardening, playing bocce, cooking, hanging out with her children, and DIY projects.
Alex Quintana
Alex graduated from Allstate Barber College and has been in the industry for eighteen years. Alex specializes in clipper cuts, short haircuts, shaves, and boy’s haircuts. Alex trained at Pivot Point in Chicago, and is certified in Paul Mitchel Color. Further, Alex has received training in Aveda Product Knowledge, and Aveda Grey Blending.
Alex enjoys telling Dad jokes, community organizing, and spending time with his family. His favorite movie is, Good Fella’s.
Jessica Branco
Jessica attended Allstate Barber College and Brown Aveda Institute. Jessica has a dual license in Barbering and Cosmetology, and has been in the industry for eleven years. Jessica specializes in curly hair, long layer cutting, shaving, and bald fades. She has obtained training in Aveda Grey Blending, Aveda Product Knowledge, and Vidal Sassoon. Additionally, Jessica attended the Aveda Congress Training Show.
In her free time, Jessica loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends, and watch T.V. Her favorite movie is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Katherine Newcomb
Katherina attended Brown Aveda Institute and has been doing esthetics for six years. She specializes in waxing, facials, microdermabrasion, and eyelash extensions. Katherina obtained training in Novalash Eyelash Extensions, Aveda Facial and Body Treatments, and Aveda Product Knowledge.
Katherina enjoys hiking, traveling, photography, working out and weight lifting. Her favorite T.V. show is, Fixer Upper.
Melisa Quintana Day
Melisa attended Cleveland State University and Inner State Beauty School, and has been in the industry for fifteen years. She specializes in training new hires, managing the nail department, and performing all nail services. Melisa is CND certified as an acrylic master, and has completed Aveda Product Knowledge training.
Melisa loves spending time with her kids and family. Her favorite shows include, This is Us, Game of Thrones, and Stranger Things.
Mandy Kostelli
Mandi attended Brown Aveda Institute and has been in the industry for seven years. She specializes in callus removal, shellac application, methodical massage techniques for hands, feet, and face, and customizing all aspects for facial treatment. Mandi’s recent training’s include, Tulasara Techniques and Custom Facials, Aveda Body care product knowledge and techniques, CND Advanced Nail Art Techniques, and Certifications.
Mandi enjoys hiking, camping, collecting cosmetics and playing dress up. Mandi loves all Disney Channel Original Movies.
Daniela Morales
Daniela attended Inner State Beauty School and has been in the industry for three years. She specializes in manicures, pedicures, nail art, and nail repairs. Daniela has obtained training in Acrylics, Nail Art, and Aveda Product Knowledge.
Daniela enjoys cooking, reading, and knitting. Additionally, her favorite T.V. shows are Law and Order, New Girl, Stranger Things, and Master of None.
Kate LeFloria
Kate attended Inner State Beauty School and has been in the industry for eleven years. She specializes in Acrylic, Nail Art, and Shellac Manicures. Kate has obtained training in CND Skill Building, Aveda Nail Class, and Aveda Product Knowledge.
Kate enjoys skating, collecting porcelain dolls, knitting, and crocheting. Her favorite movies are Save the Last Dance and Fever Pitch.
Chariah Curry
Chariah attended Inner State Beauty School and has been in the industry for one year. While in school, Chariah worked at the front desk as a Salon Coordinator. She specializes in manicures and pedicures. Chariah has received training in customer service, Aveda Product knowledge, CND Nail Art, and Acrylics.
Chariah enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and watching basketball. Her favorite T.V. show is Claws, and her favorite actresses are Jennifer Lopez and Halle Berry.
Angela Voorhis
Angela received her bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College. She has been a Salon Coordinator for 5 years. Angela specializes in Spa Parties and Groomsmen Parties, maintaining the website, Aveda products, and booking music for our Speakeasy. She has attended training’s in customer service, Pure Privilege, Aveda Product Knowledge, and editing the website.
Angela enjoys wine tasting, reading, writing, sewing, camping, and making jewelry. Her favorite actor is Johnny Depp, favorite T.V. show is Lucifer, and favorite movie is, Cruel Intentions.
